We’re excited to share that Temperance Square in Loftus is now complete and will officially open on 31 August.
Delivered for Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council (RCBC), this new centre for adult learning and training stands proudly on Loftus High Street. It plays a key role in the town’s wider regeneration and will be home to the Redcar & Cleveland Employment and Skills team, offering training and support to help the local community thrive.
Located within a conservation area and next to the historic Temperance Hall, the design was carefully shaped by its heritage setting. The steeply sloping site presented unique technical challenges, which the team approached with creativity and care.
Construction was completed in April, with landscaping and final touches finished in June, just in time for the big opening day.
