Damien Graham

Damien Graham is a Senior Architect at GT3 Architects. He achieved a First Class Honours degree in Architecture (Part 1) at Liverpool John Moores University before completing his Masters at the Belfast School of Architecture. After moving to the North East in 2015, Damien joined GT3 in the summer of 2024, bringing with him a thoughtful and people-centred approach to design.

Specialisms: Damien’s architectural approach is rooted in social responsibility and a strong response to people and place. He has a particular interest in legibility of material, form and structure, with a clear expression of architectural elements that allows buildings to be easily understood by those who use and experience them. His work focuses on honest construction, clarity of design intent and the careful integration of structure and material to communicate how a building works.

Personal Ambition: "I believe good architecture should always respond to people and place, and that the buildings we design should give back more than they take. I am driven by an interest in legibility of material, form and structure, with a clear expression of architectural elements that gives the viewer an immediate understanding of how a building works. It is through the intelligent use of these fundamental components that my interest in architecture is continually reinforced."
