Anna Cumberland

Originally from Warrington, Anna completed both her degrees at Newcastle University. This included a 6-month exchange at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, where she loved experiencing Scandinavian culture, the Swedish countryside and the arctic winter (which made Newcastle feel tropical)! Following her Masters, Anna was delighted to join GT3 and stay on in Newcastle.

Outside of the office, Anna combines her love of good food, the great outdoors and new places by trying to visit a few different countries each year. In the meantime, she’s often with her team attempting to improve their score at the pub quiz.

Specialisms: Since joining GT3, Anna has specialised in the workplace fit out and consultancy arm of the practice. She enjoys engaging with clients and end users at the early conception stages of projects and working closely with them, to realise their ambitions for their new spaces. At the opposite end of the scale, Anna works on strategic masterplans, which allows her to integrate her interest in landscape design. In addition, she regularly tutors undergraduate Architecture students at Newcastle University.

Personal Ambition: "To kayak through the Swiss Lakes (or at least one of them!)"
