8 members of the GT3 Architects team from both Newcastle and Nottingham bravely competed against Five-a-side Football Teams in the North East as part of the North East chamber of Commerce’s Business Fives Tournament.
Whilst their efforts were sadly in vain on the footballing front, they managed to raise a fantastic £500 for Alopecia UK, a charity close to the hearts of various people at GT3 Architects and one which is often under-funded and which lacks support.
Alopecia is a condition for which there is little awareness, treatment options are very limited and they are not guaranteed to work. It can be incredibly difficult to adjust to having a changed appearance and we are proud to support a small charity that is there for those in their time of need. Alopecia UK is not a household name and relies on donations and fundraising to continue the work it does.
