A clear reference to local character and townscape.
Set around the Manor House, considered to be the ‘jewel in the Mount Oswald site, our scope for this project was to deliver a variety of accommodations, to propose an innovative development for the county archives, and to lead on the refurbishment of the site gatehouses. Working closely with the Conservation Officer and Historic England, our approach to this project was to deliver a clear contrast between old and new – incorporating contemporary design into the new-build elements to frame and highlight the existing, historic buildings.
