GT3 Architects designs for an 80 unit residential development in Tynemouth have recently been revealed at a public consultation with the local community.
Simon Dunstan, Director at GT3 Architects added: “This project is part of the ongoing regeneration of the wonderful Tynemouth Station and will see an unused, brownfield site transformed into an ambitious, mixed-use development that will add to the amenity, economy and image of Tynemouth and support the ongoing maintenance and upgrading of the station and local environment.
“The scheme will deliver a mix of retail, leisure and residential uses to meet the needs of discerning occupiers who want the benefits of a vibrant, town-centre location, excellent transport connectivity and exceptional, contemporary design.
“The form and language of the building has been designed to reflect the character and materials of the local area and the scheme includes a high-quality, new landscaped setting that connects to Tynemouth Road and improves the setting of the station building itself.”
