We are pleased to share that the planning application for the partial rebuild of West Wickham Leisure Centre has been submitted – marking a key milestone in creating a modern, welcoming space for health, wellbeing, and community life.
Our design takes inspiration from the recently reopened West Wickham Library, introducing a distinctive red brick exterior and upgraded facilities, including a competition-length swimming pool, modern gym, café, social spaces, and improved reception and changing areas.
David Richardson, Associate at GT3, said:
“Our vision for West Wickham is to create a place where everyone feels welcome and inspired to be active. By building on the area’s character and designing with the community in mind, we are shaping a centre that will support local people for many years to come.”
We are proud to be working with London Borough of Bromley, Alliance Leisure, Etec Group, and Varsity Consulting to bring this vision to life. Pending approval, demolition works are due to begin in the coming weeks, with the centre set to reopen in early 2028.
