We’re considered one of the UKs leading sport & leisure experts for a reason.
Over the last 15+ years, we’ve worked regionally, nationally, and internationally to deliver hundreds of wet and dry facilities. Our schemes are award-winning, not just because of their visual appeal, but because of the care we take to ensure the final output and facility mix enhances the quality of life for those that use it, now and for generations to come.
We work with nationally and internationally recognised experts, governing bodies, and leisure operators to not only ensure our facilities meet requirements for health and wellbeing, training, competition, socialising and learning, but also to help shape best-practice for the future.
Our experience means that we have considerable knowledge of where key revenue generators can be incorporated into the scheme and how informed design can be used to reduce capital and life-cycle costs.
Leisure Centres & Community Hubs
Our leisure centres are increasingly becoming flexible community facilities, providing social, wellbeing and health opportunities for the widest possible range of ages and abilities.
Our projects combine a unique blend of uses to create leisure destinations that act as gateways and central hubs, often playing a key role in the regeneration of towns and cities and acting as a catalyst for further future development. From adult learning facilities, children’s libraries and theatrical space to flexible workspaces, council services and GP surgeries, our community hubs are designed specifically for the communities their meant for.
As post-pandemic urban centralisation and public sector rationalisation comes to the forefront, these community hubs are becoming increasingly important for continued growth.
Elite Training & University Facilities
We’re passionate about innovation and how new developments can benefit both the users and operators of the facilities that we design and deliver. Our technical and R&D Team regularly work with Swim and Sport England to deliver industry leading guidelines in sport and leisure, helping athletes of all levels – from professional world-class individuals to grass root sports achieve their ambitions.
We have been at the forefront of introducing new features and activities into both our elite and community leisure projects and pride ourselves on leading the way in terms of innovative developments in leisure design and products.
Our team are currently delivering the UKs first wet & dry Passivhaus Leisure Centre, are working on a new model for both mental and physical wellbeing in University Sport, and are currently delivering a new sustainability consultation kit designed to support leisure centres survive rising energy and operational costs.
