Earlier in December, John Dobson’s House of Disco, our GT3 entry for Gingerbread Street 2025, was recognised with the Small Plot Award, a brilliant result for everyone involved.
Gingerbread Street brings together creativity and community impact, raising vital funds for Oasis Community Housing and their Giving a Home Christmas Appeal. Our model was displayed at The Biscuit Factory as part of this year’s wider gingerbread community, helping to shine a spotlight on an important cause. As part of our entry, the charity also received an additional £1,000 to support its vital work.
Behind the fun sits a serious purpose. The Giving a Home Christmas Appeal supports people facing homelessness across our region, helping more than 1,300 individuals on their journey towards safety, stability and a place to call home.
A great example of GT3 creativity supporting positive social impact, and a reminder of the power design has to make a meaningful difference beyond the built environment.
