Easton Leisure Centre Reopens Following £3.8m Transformation

Easton Leisure Centre in Bristol has now completed its £3.8 million transformation, delivering significantly improved facilities for the local community.

The completed works include an extended gym with new Life Fitness equipment, a dedicated women-only gym, a modernised sports hall and a new family-friendly soft play area featuring a multi-level play structure. A new exercise studio with a mezzanine floor has also been introduced, expanding opportunities for group activities and classes.

Upgrades to the reception, changing facilities and café have enhanced the overall visitor experience, while energy-saving measures have been installed throughout the building as part of the jointly funded project, supporting improved operational efficiency alongside user comfort.

David Richardson, Associate at GT3 Architects, commented:

“It’s been a pleasure working alongside Everyone Active, Bristol City Council and Vincent Stokes Ltd to reimagine Easton Leisure Centre. This transformation balances vibrant, inclusive design with practical improvements that will support wellbeing, encourage active lifestyles and make the centre a more welcoming, accessible place for all.”

It is great to see the completed centre now supporting health, wellbeing and inclusive access for the Easton community.
