GT3 Architects were delighted to sponsor Active Uprising this year alongside Willmott Dixon and Myrtha Pools. Following numerous successful projects together, the team stood together to demonstrate the value of collaboration, and a continued commitment to the sports and leisure sector whether together or in each company’s own endeavours.
Having delivered more than 20 community sport and leisure centres in recent years, our own commitment takes the form of a Research and Development challenge called ‘Community +’ which has a distinct focus on tackling social issues such as inactivity and loneliness.
UK Active, whose mission statement is ‘More people More active More often’, hosts Active Uprising to bring together innovative thinkers and influencers in the sector. The event culminates in an awards ceremony to recognise the people and facilities that demonstrate exceptional practice in supporting the UK Active mission.
