Appointment onto Constructing Excellence Advisory Board

We’re exceptionally proud of our Associate Director Suzanne Blair RIBA, who last week was accepted onto the Constructing Excellence North East Advisory Board!

‘The single organisation charged with driving the change agenda in construction, housing and regeneration. Constructing Excellence are committed to working with the industry, its customers and the government to make change happen and to deliver prosperity. We seek to improve performance, shift perceptions and together with our partners, form a powerful voice for change.’

The CENE Advisory board is responsible for the organisation’s activities and events that take place throughout the year.

Speaking as part of a wider press release, Suzanne said: “I’m delighted to be joining the advisory board. Constructing Excellence, to me, is one of the only truly pan-industry organisation that represents everyone from trades to contractors and consultants to clients. By bringing everyone together into a collaborative, open and honest forum, we can tackle the challenges and take advantage of the opportunities the industry presents us. I hope to represent not only my organisation but the many similar ones we work with, whilst also championing the diversity this industry needs.”

Suzanne is the driving force behind many of GT3 Architects people, practice, and purpose initiatives and is a true North East champion. She added:

“I’d like to thank the board for accepting my nomination and being so welcoming. I feel like I’ve spent the first part of my career taking from the industry; experience, knowledge, mentors and friends and am now at a point where I have enough to put back in.”
