Chris Parrish

Chris recently graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 2020, with a postponed graduation ceremony in September 2021. He undertook a placement year as an Architectural Technologist, working upon prefabricated retail restaurants. He then returned to the architect practice after graduating, following being offered a graduate role whilst upon placement. Chris then wanted to pursue his interest in larger projects, especially within the leisure architectural industry and applied to GT3 Architects. Chris’ interests in this sector spiked whilst at university when he decided to undertake a leisure-based project for his final year degree project!

Outside of work Chris enjoys thrift shopping, finding quirky items in places such as Hopkinsons opposite Nottingham Train Station. He is also interested in fitness and sports, with a keen interest in table tennis. Chris has also recently taken up learning the French language, having lived in France at his family home.

Specialisms: Chris enjoys exploring how various materials tie together in construction and is especially interested in the sustainable side of architecture, through discovering new sustainable techniques of construction and renewable energy.

Personal Ambition: "My main ambition is to design and construct my own “dream” home, created from my own construction/design package. With a future desire for property development."
